What does it do?

Yeah.

So use that in the context of you were saying, you know, using an MCP for chat GPT, like what does that mean?

Yeah.

So for those of you who maybe haven't heard, this was relatively recently, but Plaid has publicly exposed an MCP connection to LLMs, including like ChatGPT.

where I can go in to ChatGPT or Claude, and I can go into connectors, and I can set up a new connection, and I can set up a connection through Plaid's MCP to say my Bank of America account.

And now my Claude has access, as Tommy was saying, to all that transaction behavior and data.

What I find really interesting about this is a couple of things.

So for starters, I've argued that people have been doing this for quite a while.

And I think a lot of institutions were blind to it in the early days, even just anecdotal evidence, talking to different friends and things.

People were downloading their statements from their bank, uploading them into chat GPT and saying, I want to know where my money's going.

Am I going broke?

Where am I overspending?

Do I have a bunch of recurring fees?

Do I have an annual bill that only comes out once a year and I always forget about and it overdrafts me, right?

What do I need to be paying attention to?

And one of the things that LLMs are phenomenal at is looking at structured data, looking at large sets of data, looking

Distilling it.

And then I would argue, especially some of the newer versions of Claude are freaking phenomenal at visualization creation.
