They really get behind the team, so hopefully we can use that as some motivation and get ourselves excited to have a great game against Everett.
One quick story, I remember we came up the stairs together at the same time and one of the employees at the Bell Centre came up and asked for an autograph.
And I was like, I don't... Yeah.
Of course, John Velvo opens up a suit jacket, pulls out a Sharpie, signs, gives it to me, I sign.
And then when she walked away, he gave me a Sharpie and he goes, you play for the Montreal Canadiens.
No matter where you go, you need to keep a Sharpie on you because people want your autograph and you need to be able to sign for them.
So keep this and keep it with you at all times.
And you know, like, right.
Like where else, where else do you get,
A legend of the game who still spends time with current players and teaching them those valuable lessons of what it is to be in Montreal.
Right?
Like if you go down to some of the places down south where the fans are great in the arena, but once you leave the building, they don't know who you are.
But Montreal is different.
Everybody knows who you are.
And it was those little lessons that you're not getting from your teammates.
You're not getting from your coach.
You're getting from past players who are...
icons of this game and and that just builds into that they're at the game they're sitting right behind he's watching you know like they know everything that's going on with the team and they have conversations with you about it and um pretty special to even just think back and reflect on those moments of of what i got to experience as a player
OK, so a few things there.
I will do that.
