And I think that, you know, Musk is clearly a visionary, right?
He's clearly one of the best CEOs that we've seen, you know, over the last sort of decade.
There's no doubt about that from where Tesla was to where it is to now, where SpaceX was to where it is to now.
So there's no denying that whatsoever.
But ultimately, it's having to believe in that vision he asked you to think in decades.
And that's really difficult for investors, especially when shares are dropping by as much as they did last week.
And when the stock is trading where it is, it's up around about 150, 160 times forward earnings.
And so they're selling more cars, but they're making less on each one.
And that vision of Optimus is still a long, long way away.
And I think that's the real difficult part for investors right now is that the core business that sort of really makes the money to be able to fund these future plans is struggling.
And those future plans like Optimus and RoboTaxi and even sort of that growth of full self-driving is still really years off.
And it's like, okay, well, if we're really struggling to drive business from the core side, and margins dropping and profitability is coming down, then how are we going to sort of continue to fund this sort of future business that at the moment is really not turning the needle in terms of, you know, revenue and profit.
So it's absolutely a risk.
And I think what it shows is that Tesla is mid transformation, they're moving away from just being that car company towards this tech company built on AI and robotics.
But they're asking investors to ultimately be patient.
And I think that
you know, patience is wearing a little bit thin for some investors.
Thanks, Michael.
That's a pretty big 36 hours in your world.
Yeah, it's always bitty.
