I don't know where they'll turn next.
I think the closer they get to being in this title race and maybe feeling like there's a worthy opponent there in Arsenal in terms of being really up for a scrap.
I wonder if Guardiola at least just sort of stays on for that little bit longer.
How do you sort of see it going?
This is where I wonder though, on that sort of topic of some teams being badly run and some teams being well run, I'm going to just class City for the sake of arguments as well run, albeit again.
And what I would say is, in theory, he's hopefully, from their point of view at least, definitely not from my point of view, he's hopefully sort of created for them a team like Jurgen did that meant that they could go on and win the league the next season.
I just wonder if a good team will go and find the right manager and yes and for all that you know we've been critical of Arneslott this season Liverpool from that first season you can't dispute Liverpool went out and found the right manager to succeed Jurgen Klopp because of what we won I back City whether it's Guardiola saying or leaving really to get that next appointment right Yeah they're clever they're not stupid there might be a lot of charges against them none of which are ever going to be dealt with by anybody anywhere by the looks of it but
I think they've done the thing that FSG did originally to an extent where, I'm sure someone came out and said it at Liverpool at one point, like, you basically hire people who are better at the job than you to do this.
I'm sure like Tom Verner or someone along the line said that.
That's what it feels like City did.
They went out and got like Chixie Berger style and all these different people who then...
were able to run a football club really well.
Yeah, it can create an emotional overload, I think, can't it?
I actually wonder whether there is a bit of Guardiola who genuinely hasn't made the decision.
I think for all he's definitely grown on me a little bit this season now that he's not in that direct competition with Jurgen Klopp.
I just like the things he says in his comments.
And he's a game to make a lot out of, so I'm all for him.
And, you know, four right causes on the pitch too, which always feels like another positive step.
But I wonder for him whether he's genuinely not made the decision yet, whether he wants to get to the end of the season, sort of almost checking with himself a bit.
