It doesn't matter.
In real life, it does matter.
So Liverpool can't run out of time or money sorting out the forward situation, worrying about who's going to play when Milos Kerkas needs a rest.
There's two things in my mind that may affect them.
Number one is that, similar to Arnott's first season, teams will just be better at defending against them.
There'll be hours and hours of tape and time in pre-season to work on that.
I think I was reading somewhere where the balance of set pieces that they've scored, they've scored far more in the first half of the season, I could be wrong, compared to the second half.
Secondly, I think there's going to be a crackdown from the governing body, IFAB or whoever, in regards to what is and isn't allowed in the box.
I don't think the manhandling of goalkeepers will persist.
I think there'll be a clampdown around that.
I mean, goalkeepers are overprotected.
I've been saying that for years.
Joke.
Managed to get it in four minutes.
There you go.
I just think there'll be more clarity in regards to what's allowed and what isn't in a round three kick, especially around the big cop-outs in regards to the balls in play.
It can't be a foul.
Yes.
there's got to be some change around those guidelines because essentially, you know, if I'm standing on the goal line and just a millisecond before the ball is kicked, I lean into another defender or an attacker.
That's got to stop your restricting movement there.
