I think it really was a bit of a stain on some of the races in the 2000s, unfortunately, because it just has some fundamental problems. voice-verified

And I think that the primary one is that it moves a lot of the action from happening on track into the pit lane and onto numbers. voice-verified

So it's more about, you know, you can just extend your stint because you've got more fuel. voice-verified

That fuel burns off, you're on low fuel, and you basically just do an overcut because you're on really low fuel. voice-verified

They're obviously going slower, so you are just running longer, which you already knew before the race because the fuel... voice-verified
