Well, I'll tell you what, people all across the Iowa are saying that they're feeling that hope, that optimism for the first time in a long time.
On that day.
Sure.
Uh, it came together.
We I had I was in Chicago and I ended up meeting with uh with David Axelrod through a c a a colleague of mine in the Iowa legislature and sat down, was trying to convince him on myself, on on Iowa that this thing is absolutely winnable.
We could be seat number 51 in the US Senate.
And when we finished, uh he he texted me and said, look, I'd I'd love to be helpful however I can.
I said, I've got this crazy idea where we've been including basketball so much and playing Iowa with people, going to the YMCA in in in Des Moines.
And I said, I've got this crazy idea where all I need is President Obama just raise his hand five times, just five shots.
And he said, Well, let me see what I can do and forty eight hours later, text me back and said
I think he's interested.
I think this thing is gonna happen.
And uh came together and uh incredible.
I mean, my political hero, it was a surreal moment.
As I'm shooting and I'm looking over and I'm like, oh my God, I'm I'm I'm I'm playing horse against or as we're calling it Iowa against President Obama.
And honestly, uh a great shooter.
Really, really good
Yeah.
Um we we we came out here here's what I'll say.
Uh he came out, he missed his first shot or two.
