I feel like if we did end up chatting at the Brisbane Star Hotel, we would still be there talking on this very topic right now on parenting because we have a similar journey as far as we have a child who's on the spectrum and diagnosed nearly four years ago now.
And you said before that certain things in your life have definitely โ I can't remember the expression you used, but wiped the smile off your face for a little bit of time.
Yeah, slapped it off my face.
Yeah, it certainly punched it off my face for quite some time.
I'm now at a point where I feel like I wouldn't change a thing now and I feel โ
I feel so much joy now and I've learned so much from our child and they've enriched our lives so much with what their world looks like.
