Yeah.

This is a door manufacturer based in Tampa, Florida, American company, American manufacturer.

They do primarily home building, but they have a lot of stuff that they have brought in from China to support their business.

And they're the ones that are the importer of records.

So they have this huge tariff bill that they have to pay now and they have to figure out, okay, how do I offset that?

Do I raise building costs?

Do I force my Chinese supplier to take a loss?

Do I

try to find a new supplier in a different country.

But, you know, it's the American company that gets the bill and has to figure out, you know, has to do all that work to figure out how they're going to cope with it.

Yeah, I mean, right now the U.S.

put tariffs, they put a tariff of just 10% on about half of the imports that come from China.

Now, they have threatened, if these talks with China don't go well, to raise it to 25%.

So that's, you know, that'd be two and a half times more.

And then they have also threatened to apply it to the other half of Chinese imports.

So, you know, if you did both of those moves, you'd potentially be talking about four times as much

tariffs in place.

It would be very substantial.

It would be a big challenge for the companies.

It would be more revenue coming in for the United States government, but I think we should be careful to point out here that the amount of money we're talking about, $6 billion a month, even if you doubled that to $12 billion a month, it's actually very small compared to the size of the overall U.S.
