But I realize that great nonfiction reads like fiction.

Good fiction reads like nonfiction.

So in the great twist of irony, I'm writing novels every single day.

And I've written like 130 at this point.

Nonfiction, right?

But it has to read like fiction with the same compelling storytelling and narrative and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

So I would tell the fifteen year old, what is it that you wanted to do since you were ten?

And then

Expand that up into the ad adult economy and what people are willing to pay for.

It seems

And and what's the direction that you might want to go?

So in my case, I chose communications degrees.

Because I would I would be doing a lot of what?

Writing practice on all manner of different subjects, essays and research and rhetoric and speech and debate I did at university.

Like I I e even though the substance of the classes wasn't particularly practical, it was a

almost like an apprenticeship for four years.

I got an associate's degree and then a bachelor's degree.

Uh and the focus was basically writing for every single class on different subjects.

So and at the same time, I began freelance writing.

And so doing this in academics, doing this professionally, I was a teenager when I started freelance writing and getting paid to write.
