AI is going to be a very crucial technology.
The problem is it developed so fast and it came out so fast that the infrastructure could not keep pace with the rapid demand and rapid development.
And so we're using ways of doing things that don't really work in the long term.
So, already though you do have some people proposing new things.
Elon Musk for example, he's talking about putting AI systems in orbit and so, you know, you won't have to cool them as much because it's a little colder out in orbit, you know what I mean?
you can have solar panels and they kind of self-regulate like that.
That's his idea.
Some people are saying Greenland, Alaska, maybe Northern Canada, put them in cold climates so you don't need to pour water over them and just destroy water systems or
you know find other ways of cooling them that that that's a big proposal you know why are you building it in arizona and texas why not build it in northern alaska um the other problem of course is strategic uh vulnerability you know the the other concern is that if our adversaries want to blow it up you can't have it just in one place so this is why it's so controversial right now and it is interesting going back to our original uh point of discussion
Yeah, well, you know, on the information front, you're totally right.
That is the tactic used by the CCP, used by a lot of organizations.
I would actually say it's a tactic used by communist groups in general, which is you take existing issues, you take existing maybe people are discontent about something.
And then you exaggerate it and you make it seem like that's the biggest issue in the entire world.
And then you pump it up.
And then what you do is you don't choose a moderate solution.
You choose an extreme solution.
Rather than trying to find a middle ground, rather than trying to work out something, you have a very radical solution.
So, the solution for them is not...
you know, find better ways of cooling AI data centers, put them in areas further away from, you know, major cities, for example, things like that that would solve a lot of these problems.
They're saying don't do it at all.
