They play the lead up to that first encounter really well.
And it's kind of nerve wracking, but like once once they pop that seal, you know, like it's pretty much just like a roller coaster.
It's just really, really fun.

I think they nailed it.
I think it was a big part of why
it works is that like instead of making you scared of a of a thing, it leans into Brian being scared of that thing and him being scared is funny.
Mm-hmm.
Whereas, you know, like a lot of the stuff that it like it's like a very normal fear to dread what's behind the other side of the door.
But then when Brian is dreading what's on the other side of the door, right, then you're laughing at him and he's sort of like it's very inviting in that way, as gross as this movie is, and this movie's really gross.
You know?
Like we we mentioned the the body horror before.
It's pretty intense.
It's high
But like it's as inviting as that kind of movie can be.
And Junebug uh is is very upset about it.
One of the things that I'm interested to see is how people who are super interested in like Resident Evil lore.
our response to it because I think a lot of the jokes are built around not really caring about the lore that much, you know?
Like when Umbrella comes up, it's kind of a gag.
