At Vermium we're t uh for this our cancer program, we're taking this a a little bit different.
Well, we think we took some somewhat of a first principles approach where it's like, okay, what else comes back in your body?
But somehow it's your body's efficient at gathering at getting
rid of it again.
Like what else chronically comes back but your body can actually truly cure it.
And that's your um infectious disease response, you know, against flu, measles, chickenpox.
You you get vaccinated as a kid, you have this memory immunity.
You know, if you get exposed to measles virus again these days, right, you get COVID again, after two weeks your immune system clears it.
That's kind of the way we were thinking about it.
Like what isn't so how how could we do that to cancer?
How could we make the body go, This guy's back, let's get rid of it?
And so we realized that the best way to do this is
is to fool the body to think that the cancer is not cancer, but actually a past infection.
By fooling the body, we mean tricking the body to see the cancer as a past uh infection.
So using your ac preexisting immunity to kill it.
So what this means is from a broad approach, what we were thinking was what is in your body that's lifelong, that's protective, and who has this immunity?
So for all practical purposes, the the long term vision of veriimmunist, a physician, knock on wood, somebody has cancer.
A physician can look at the patient, this cancer patient and say, I I've seen your health records, I've seen your vaccine records, or or go take a immunology test.
this person has, you know, an i a pre existing immune response to this you know, disinfectious uh virus, you know, virus X.
And at Vermian we would provide this treatment that would basically repurpose that natural immunity against virus X to now actually go target a cancer.
