We'd also made a mac and cheese.

I didn't really go for it.

My little daughter was there.

She'd already eaten because we were back so late.

It was a fraught atmosphere.

There was sadness because I'd bought everybody a tub of slime as a party favor for this little tea party.

And there was absolute carnage because one of them wanted the pink one and the pink one was already taken.

It was carnage.

I guess it's half six.

Then the cake comes in.

The cake's a Sonic the Hedgehog cake made by my friend Elisa, who's an incredibly talented baker.

It was absolutely delicious.

The girls fought over who got which bit.

Then they all did not eat the cake apart from the big girl who loved it.

So they have the cake.

Then the parents show up to pick up the other kids.

That takes half an hour.

Everyone wants to see the hamster.

Everyone's running around the house.

It's intense.
