And if anything, I felt a bit guilty because I was worried that she didn't have any big showy items.
Right.
So it wasn't a big toy that she really wanted or anything like that.
A gun.
But it was much more for, exactly, she wanted a gun, a functioning gun.
And I said to her, you've got to wait till you're seven.
And she, here's the thing, my daughter, and I don't know where she gets this from, she loves to be the star of the show.
And so she really, really was excited about the fact that it would be her birthday and that everyone would have to.
put her front and center give her what she wanted she knew that it would be a day where she got a lot of yeses where sweeties were flowing like wine and this is my real vibe is that my daughter's focuses in life i think are sweet foods that's a big one
And then, like, I think for her it was a big thing to think that she wouldn't have to share too much and she wouldn't have to do all these social skills that she's been learning.
Good.
That have been hard work.
Only on the birthday.
If we're going to be granular, then what we always do is I go to the bathroom and my two children come with me and they share that experience with me.
They just get to be with me while I'm on the toilet, no matter what I'm doing.
Great.
What a birthday treat.
And then we come downstairs and my little one, and this is my thing to show off that nobody else gives a damn about.
My little one, she's never needed a stair gate.
Can you imagine that?
