Well, I do think, you know, the Trump team may have underestimated the amount of bureaucracy that they would have to fight and the dug-in nature of them.
But I just want to kind of go back and do a quick timeline here.
So, you know, President Trump comes into office in January.
One of his very early executive orders says, anyone who left the military, the service over the COVID shot mandate, you get to come back in with full back pay, with full benefits, with basically making you as whole as possibly can be.
And, you know, that wasn't happening so that in April, defense or war secretary Pete Hegseth had to issue kind of a directive saying, hey, get on this.
Basically, nothing was happening at that point.
And then we got all the way to September, August, September, and the numbers come out and only 13 of, and my calculation, according to sources who paid attention to this, pretty much all of the 95,000 people who depleted the military during the Biden years leading to
the greatest personnel crisis in military history, as well as, people pointed out to me, the most ethical people in the military leaving over this because they are the ones who have the strongest conscience.
So we depleted, Biden really, really undermined not only our military, but
really the ethical, the character quality of the people inside the military deeply depleted for a generation, you know.
And so the numbers came out that out of about those 95,000 people who, you know, most of them didn't say they were leaving over the COVID shot mandate.
They took an early retirement.
They didn't re-up if they could because they saw that their colleagues were getting punished, you know, for...
for saying, yes, I want an exemption, you know, please give me my constitutional conscience rights and give me this exemption.
So 13 out of those 95,000 had gotten through the reinstatement process in September.
And so, you know, basically that called for another really moving around some personnel.
So really, I think, you know, Pete Hegseth, his team, Undersecretary Tony Tata,
He was appointed to that position.
