But the thing that was sad was they said, we can't deny that what you say has happened to you has some validity in scripture, but it's not part of our doctrine.

Whoa.

Oh, interesting.

That I think was the saddest part for me was they were willing to say, yes, I see these things in the Bible, but it's not part of our doctrine.

Well, I never looked at it as being worthy or not being worthy.

I just heard I was making my bed one morning and I was listening to the first teaching cassette I'd ever heard.

And man was teaching out of Mark four where Jesus said, let us cross over to the other side.

And then they got in the storm.

And but then it says they arrived on the other side.

And.

which that's a lesson in itself.

When God says, let's do this, no matter how many storms come in between, you're gonna end up doing what God has told you to do.

And I was just so moved and impressed that somebody could keep my attention for an hour out of just a few verses because I was hearing the word with an anointing on it.

Not just somebody just reading it, but there was a real anointing.

And I continued making my bed, and I heard God's whisper in my spirit.

He said, you're going to go all over the world and teach my word.

And so through television...

I'm on in about two-thirds of the world in 106 different languages.

And so we get to reach a lot of people.

And I thank God for what he's let me do because I know it's him and not me.
