I think it depends on how it's taught.

You know, first of all, those scriptures in Ephesians 5 say we should submit to each other.

And then it talks about

the man being the head of the household.

And I think those things are there not to put women down or for anybody to control them, but for order.

There has to be order.

And so what Dave and I do is, as far as the ministry is concerned, I'm the head of the ministry.

And he did so much to help build this ministry.

And

We show him respect for that.

But he doesn't try to tell me what to preach or what to do.

And in our personal life, if there's a decision, if we don't agree about something, if the decision can wait, we'll wait.

But if it has to be made, then I'll let him make it.

So that's what I think about submission.

But it's not to let somebody control you.

I mean, people, one of the reasons why women finally got full of it and reared up a little bit was because so many men were taking it to an extreme into control and manipulation.

And that's not what God meant at all.
