Yeah, so around 60,000 migrants over—I think it was on Friday or Thursday—
cross over into the Spanish territory called Ceuta.
And so Spain actually has these two enclaves across the Strait of Gibraltar on the coast with Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla.
They're just these two cities completely surrounded by Morocco.
And they've actually controlled them since the 1400s.
But, you know, it's been a point of contention between Spain and Morocco.
Morocco says that it should be theirs on account of, you know, their geographical location.
But, you know, this area of the world is really interesting if you're into, like, decolonial stuff.
Because you have Gibraltar itself, which is, you know, controlled by the UK, which Spain says should be theirs.
And then on the other hand, Morocco...
claims all of what's called Western Sahara further south, which used to be a Spanish territory as well.
Spain handed control over to it in Morocco, and there's been an insurgency there because the Sahrawis, the native people of Western Sahara, don't want to be part of Morocco, and this is horrific.
It's kind of like a Palestine situation.
