I had a lot of fun just learning what I didn't see in romance, which is what I put in square hearts, single parents, divorced parents, widowed parents, people with normal bodies, people with neurodivergent kids.

Um, but for my next book, I'm taking the romance kind of thing even further in that it's a woman who's obsessed with romance.

And um it kind of starts to ruin her marriage because she's reading all these books and, you know, they're so lofty and beautiful and everybody's um wonderful and then she's comparing it to her own life and um it's been a lot of fun to write.

Yep.

And you know, uh the me list was a little snarky and my next book, uh, Square Hearts is kinda in between, but this book is also snarky.

So it's just fun to be like, you know, romance books are all hot and heavy and then you're in a long marriage and it's like they have like heating pads, right?

And that's like as hot and heavy as it gets.

So the comparisons were just just so fun to write.

I think a lot of people will enjoy it.

Yeah, there's comfort in that, right?

Yeah, no, I definitely the tropes are fun, especially in a marriage.

The one bed trope.

When it's your marriage is really not

That's a whole different thing.

It's always one bed.

It's really not that exciting.

I miss when we went go for drinks at lunch.

No, I'm just kidding.

Um, you know, I still I'm still a freelance writer.

I still do a lot of advertising, a lot of marketing, lots of social media.
