Those microplastics and the chemicals in the plastics are going into your food.
If you had a tomato sauce or pasta sauce and you put it in a plastic Tupperware container,
It gets oily.
It gets a little orange.
It dyes it a little bit.
I don't know if anybody still does that.
But if you have, that is an example of that transfer.
It's being absorbed into the plastic.
It's also the plastic is being absorbed into your food.
And in particular, black plastics, black plastics have some of like the worst heavy metals and things in them.
Some of it can be.
I mean, you know, we work with folks who do private individual testing of things.
Made Safe Certified actually does under nondisclosure agreements with businesses testing.
test their products in independent labs for them because you have maybe so many subcontractors.
You know, they may say that it doesn't have something in it, but you need to test and make sure.
I mean, that's a hard one because you're working hard.
You don't have time necessarily to go out to eat, but going somewhere to eat and knowing the people who are preparing your food, you know, there are more and more places and there are pilots and hopefully there'll be bigger systems where it's a reusable container.
A lot of them have started with reusable plastic containers.
We advocate for reusable stainless steel containers, you know, like Tiffin's like in India, you know, stackable, you know, containers, things like that.
So, I mean, you can if you develop a relationship with some of the places that you order from, be the person for now.
