There's a very uncomfortable space to operate in.

And when you're looking at people who are incredibly or who I perceive as incredibly successful around you, but once you dig in a little bit,

I like those deeper conversations because I figure, oh, okay, so yes, that is a problem.

So like, for example, for me, raising children while I have been on television and a kind of kooky falling off tables and we're like, I'm happy to, whatever makes the joke work, just so we can get an early mark is really my full life motivation.

I do love an early mark.

You know, getting the children then going to school, your mum's, you know, your mum pretended to do a wee on the television or whatever that is.

There's another whole life for the people that are important to me that they have to cop.

So, you know, like, you know, how's Julia doing with all the people who wouldn't know me growing up in Gosford and,

You know, everybody has their own fallout from the fame and I don't think I really understood how weird that would have been for the girls because there would have been a level of like jealousy even from friends because you look, your mum's on the television, your life's made.

You guys must be rich.

You must laugh all the time because your mum's fun.

No, we don't laugh all the time.

So, yeah, that window that people think they have into your life is not the truth.

So then like Sophie experienced stuff like they'd have to do a speech for school, for a school project.

I know she won't.

I hope she doesn't mind me saying that.

But she would nearly die inside.

She'd be just sick to the stomach for days having to get up and do something on the stage and ugh.

But then teachers would say stuff like, oh, come on, it's in your blood.

You were born to it, all that sort of stuff.
