But remember how he said she's still really close to Steve?

Then time goes on and he admits he actually has AIDS.
It's the 80s and they already are really protective of him being gay and like it would it's just heartbreak moment.
But this leads her into her advocacy era and puts her in a position to become this incredible advocate in a lot of ways, which we will touch on in a moment.
But it with that said, she has a very, very sad psychic moment.

It's nineteen eighty six.
She and her piece of shit husband have left family Thanksgiving and she gets this overwhelming sense of danger.
And she says to him, I think something's happened.
And then two days later, she gets a phone call.
That Steve has passed away on Thanksgiving.
This is so sad.
from now on.

She even says, like, if Steve had lived, I think I would have divorced Dawn sooner.
