Luckily, he's good at that.
I think...
from being up on Capitol Hill and talking with a number of members, they're just as confused as him.
I think they espouse a number of the same incoherent sort of motives and reasons, but what it boils down to is a root question, which is, are we in Iran?
for regime change to usher in a more stable and democratized government for the Iranian people to liberate them, as Lindsey Graham has been saying on social media and on Fox News?
Or are we there to deliberately destabilize the region to create a global hegemon in the Israeli government?
I think it's the latter.
Even President Trump said himself that
The decision to end the war will be a mutual one that he'll make with Benjamin Netanyahu.
Why on earth is the Israeli prime minister having any say over U.S.
foreign policy or when we pull our young American men and women out of the region?
That doesn't make any sense to me.
So I think that's the reason why he has to create up so many lies about the polling and why we're in the war in the first place.
It's because he's not the one who made the decision to send American troops there or send American aircraft carriers and battleships and troops there in the first place.
Yeah, I mean, I think Mark got at something interesting there, which is if you were actually trying to rebuild an Iranian society and infrastructure, why would you bomb more or why would you strike more than a dozen hospitals, two dozen police stations, all of their oil refineries?
You're taking out their infrastructure and you're taking out their economy.
And so I think
You're right that the American administration pushed back and all of the administration's allies pushed back because they said, oh, wait, no, that's the reason we want to be in Iran in the first place.
But Israel doesn't want Iran for that reason.
Israel wants to destabilize Iran and take out the state writ large so that they can be a regional hegemon.
