So the exposure piece for me certainly is a big bonus.
And I'm certainly a little bit envious of that because in my playing days, if there were 64 teams, I mean, I'm pretty sure I would have played in a few World Cups and had that exposure.
But I think it's positive where you're growing the game and you're getting the smaller nations involved.
and it continues to help those federations and nations that evolve as a country in itself.
So I love it, but at the end of the day, there's going to be pressure for the big nations, as you mentioned, to make it to the round of quarterfinals or the semifinals.
I mean, Messi, there's probably going to only be one Messi that ever existed in our lifetime.
And it's just amazing to know that this is a guy who could still perform at this level at his age.
It doesn't seem like he's lost a step.
I love it.
I've played against Messi.
I've had a chance to compete with him when he was younger, when he was mobile, when he was covering more ground.
But now you're seeing a different version of him that still allows him to be the greatest player of all time.
And typically when you hit that point in your career, you decline.
You probably don't cover as much ground.
And you don't also score that many goals.
But for him to still be one of the top scorers of the tournament...
It's just amazing.
And he brings football that I enjoy.
He brings football that reminds me a lot of a player like Diego Maradona, for instance, and even Pele.
But it's also, it's just amazing how he could, you know, bring the fans and the followings and just the love of the game together.
