Because I had a lot of production in the run game as a quarterback in college.
And so they were seeing whatever.
And then, you know, I linked up with Charlie Fry, who went to Akron.
It was actually our rival school.
And we worked out at the same place and he kind of took me under his wing and I'd never played receiver, but I had an NFL starting quarterback when I was training for my pro day that was like working with me twice a week.
So that was like the biggest, the biggest help ever.
Like when you have a quarterback that's telling you how to run routes, it's different than when you have like a receiver coach, especially a guy that's starting in the league at the time you starting for the Raiders.
And so we started training, and I just kind of was like, screw it, I'm going to try to play receiver.
And I went in, Patriots drafted me, and they saw that I could run somewhat routes and get out of cuts.
And I had some hands, and, you know, that's kind of where it went.
But they originally wanted me to be a third-down running back.
No way.
What about?
And then Woodhead came in.
So my rookie year, I had packages where I was third-down running back.
I'd play some, like, slot.
And then Woodhead came in.
We picked him up off the Jets, I think, like in week four.
And then Woodhead became Woodhead.
So you played DB, too, a little bit, right?
