And then one of the warders manages to escape.
So he's outside now and he's shouting.
And other warders across the yard start turning towards the lorry.

So the truck was late, which means by the time that the prisoners get to the front gate, a whole wave of prison warders has arrived for their evening shift.
They'd tried detaining them, but there were too many, and now one of them has sounded the alarm and the game is up.
So Jerry and his friends decide to run for it.
And what lies between them and open countryside is about 12 feet of barbed wire spooled across the ground.
It's old wartime stuff.
It's not like modern razor wire.
And Jerry, who's escaped a few times before, he knows the difference.
He told me that if you try to run at razor wire, it's going to really dice you up.
But old-fashioned barbed wire, like old-fashioned World War I style barbed wire, is something that you can kind of scramble through.
Like it'll tear you up a bit and pull your clothes, but you'll get through it.
So he sprints towards the wire and throws off his prison officer hat at the last minute and jumps.
He'd been planning to clear the wire cleanly, but instead he landed face down in the middle of it.
And his comrades behind him, seeing him go down, assumed he had just really charitably turned himself into a bridge on purpose.
