And each farm usually houses a range of different companies that all target different demographics of victims in different countries. So this, this is Myanmar's original scammer region, and it's estimated that somewhere between 100 and 200,000 people have been brought in as victims of human trafficking. And this area in southeastern Myanmar is where both Kew and Katalia were taken.

Now, the other area in Myanmar that's sprouting scammer farms, it's further south at a different border crossing with Thailand known as Three Pagoda Pass. And it's a bit more remote as it's hidden between two mountain ranges.
