And there's a number of reasons why we're really not too concerned about this wave in terms of at least here in the United States and the mainland United States. voice-verified

Uh so it's as of now with where, you know, models are positioning this for potential development, where the National Hurricane Center is pointing to potential development with this, it looks like it's gonna struggle to sit far enough south. voice-verified

To tap into those warmer sea surface temperatures or sea surface temperatures that are warm enough for some sufficient strengthening. voice-verified

Also, we're gonna be keeping a close eye on the wind shear. voice-verified

This is El Nino really in full force, uh, maintaining that elevated wind shear all across the Atlantic basin and especially across the Caribbean. voice-verified

So as that works its way west and potentially hugs that. voice-verified

a little bit more of a southerly path, even if it tries to enter the Caribbean, it's gonna get ripped up by that wall of windshire. voice-verified

So that's a huge part of why we're really not too concerned about the progress of this in that long term forecast. voice-verified

Also taking a look at Saharan dust, of course what we always like to keep tabs on throughout the season. voice-verified

And uh you know, even some of this kind of late season arguably Saharan dust, at least this really voice-verified

Thick plume of it, still pretty persistent as well across the Atlantic basin portions of the Caribbean, but the thickest there you kind of see in the early uh short-term forecast out in the open Atlantic. voice-verified

So, also what I wanted to go through here is the tropical models from Weather Nerds, one of our kind of go-to forecast model sites, um, and the spaghetti model plots. voice-verified

And, you know, of course, we get these spaghetti, the more like official spaghetti you can call them, uh, when something becomes an voice-verified

Invest, but these are very helpful to just kind of see the trends early on. voice-verified

Um, so this is the euro, starting off here with the Euro AI, which is showing more of that south hug, that kind of due west track with that initial tropical wave. voice-verified

And you see some of those lows out to the east of it. voice-verified

Um, and that is what looks like maybe another tropical wave rolling off of the coast of Africa just behind it. voice-verified

Well, if the tropical wave train is active this time of year, we typically look out to the Atlantic for those tropical waves to start picking up steam a little bit um throughout this part of the season. voice-verified
