And uh there is a a private company that I had the pleasure of speaking with, and they're based out of California that are doing really cool things. voice-verified

They are in a and you know, some forecast models are. voice-verified

Um the the National Hurricane Center I know integrating their data into then the forecast models and to improve these forecast models. voice-verified

That and I say data, the data that they're collecting from Hurricane Hunter flights and drop zones and such. voice-verified

And so this company has now built what they call a constellation of their own weather balloons that are not weather balloons voice-verified

as we know them, that the weather service, you know, sends up twice a day. voice-verified

and it's a very temporary, you know, just a one time collection of data that they have created longer living weather balloons that can fly for days, weeks at a time and are constantly collecting data. voice-verified

And they're using that then and feeding it into their own propriet their proprietary uh AI model. voice-verified

Um and it is voice-verified

w I mean it is performing outperforming things like the Euro um by a substantial benchmark or by a b substantial amount. voice-verified

So I'm very curious to see how it how it performs throughout the season ahead to keep an eye on something like that. voice-verified

It I mean, you know, and uh I always refer to Hurricane Ian because uh that's the biggest storm that I've lived through, the biggest storm that I've covered so far and uh it it takes so long. voice-verified

I mean, and what we were just talking about, um FEMA having uh a deadline coming up for Katrina uh work being done. voice-verified

Um so it it takes years in a you know voice-verified

And so it doesn't surprise me then as well for voice-verified
