Let's do it.
Yeah.
So I actually kind of prepared this for you and I've not got any actual recommendation here on like what product you're investing in.
Yeah.
But assuming you put the same $500 inside super or outside super, the same fees, the same investment returns.
Yeah.
between now and when you turn 60, you'd actually have an extra $75,000 a year if you got your 7% return that you've been aiming for.
The same investment.
Exactly the same investment, same return.
And it's just due to the lower tax that you're going to pay inside super.
Yeah.
So the reason for that is the initial money that you put in is going to be taxed less, but then it's going to make money and it's going to then be taxed less and it continues to compound and stay inside that environment.
So if you invested the same $500 a month from now until you reach $60,000,
And it just returned the same.
The numbers that I've got, you'd have $420,000 inside the superannuation environment compared to having $346,000 if you did it in your personal name.
Assume you get a pay rise and you end up in the 39% or 47% tax bracket as well.
That number is only going to get further apart because superannuation has a set 15% tax rate.
So it's not going to change as your income grows.
Why did you set yourself a goal for a million dollars by 55?
Do you plan on spending a million dollars between 55 and 60?
