But when we're talking about these apps, the target market is really younger families, people who might own a home.
They have, you know, young children, but maybe don't have a really complicated estate.
So these are the types of apps that, you know, that work for those folks.
I think that since so many young people are accustomed to doing everything on their phones now, this was a way for some of these companies to target young families who probably wouldn't go the traditional route of calling up a lawyer or meeting with a life insurance carrier to get these things done.
So now that there are apps for these types of things, it's more appealing to younger families who otherwise just would put this kind of thing off.
When it comes to the life insurance policies, mostly they don't require a medical exam.
So instead of waiting several weeks to have the results of your blood work done and analyzed, you know, if you're in fairly good health and you're young, you don't even need to have a medical exam at all.
If you do have some underlying, you know, or prior health issues, you might have to get one or if you have some particularly dangerous hobbies.
But for
Most of the people in their target market, kind of the younger 30-something people, 40-something that have young kids and who are in good health, they can skip that step altogether.
And then when it comes to creating wills, that can be done within a few minutes.
I don't think it's changed the pricing or the process, but some of the app makers I've talked to said they have seen an increase in demand in the last couple of weeks with more people flocking to their apps, downloading the apps, or actually getting life insurance policies right now.

So they are either calling people on the phone or they're emailing people, and the stories are all
you know, kind of come in a variety of ways.
Either people say that they are someone's grandchild and that they need money in order to get out of jail or they're in some sort of problem, you know, they have some sort of problem and they need cash.
Or they say that they are tech support and that in order to fix something on the person's computer, they need to be paid with a gift card.
Or they might say that they're from the IRS or a state tax authority calling to collect back taxes and
And in all of these scams, they're requiring payment in the form of a gift card.
Well, they're really easy for scammers to use and to use them quickly.
