But I'm just not sure that Haaland is the right guy to play in that system up front like that with another partner next to him, whether it's Temenio, whether it's Mahmoud, whether it's whoever you want.
It doesn't matter.
I'm just not sure he has the qualities for that.
And I thought it was so blatant on Wednesday night.
In a game where you're chasing, so it's difficult.
And they, again, Real Madrid played it really well.
But I thought Haaland in that kind of environment looked completely lost as well.
It's been effective lately, but yeah, not last night.
To be fair to Thiago Pizarro, he's young and second time in a row, and he almost cost his team a goal because O'Reilly was very close to scoring on that interception.
But he's brave.
And for that, I think he deserves a lot of credit for somebody so young
to wanting the ball all the time, to be ready to put that pressure on him.
He's quite pressure resistant, which I really like.
And I think that helped him massively in the game too.
How big is the Vini miss penalty though?
I mean, it depends.
If they qualify next week and they lose 2-1 at the Etihad, they qualify, we can forget about it.
If they don't qualify and City come back somehow and have their own Raymond Tata, yeah, we look back and not just look at the penalty miss, but also...
I was not too sure by the way it was a pen, but hey, it was given.
It's a terrible penalty.
