And again, we found a way of getting our letter out of the pile there.
I actually, I started ringing everyone in my phone book and saying, do you know anyone who knows anyone who has any contact to Greg Hunt's office?
And of course, everyone said no until one person said yes.
And again, I don't know if,
Greg Hunt's office, the Federal Health Minister's office had a great triage, probably the health department, but, you know, in terms of working out what letters were urgent and which weren't.
But just someone saying to someone who worked in his office, this letter's coming, someone's dying, you should act on it.
I don't know if that helped or not, but we did it and maybe it helped.
He'd given up on chemo.
He'd given up on radiation therapy, decided to enjoy the time he'd have left.
He was on a lot of painkillers.
Chemo and radiotherapy were a bit of a Hail Mary anyway and made him really, really sick as chemo and radiotherapy often do.
And at some point, you know, with medical advice, they just agree that there's not much point going on with that.
