And I think it's possible that in the coming months and years, we will have some sort of an awakening where society goes,
oh shit, and it might become a moral imperative to start working on defensive accelerationism.
And we might have some of the smartest minds in the world just naturally come to Ethereum as a potential solution, as part of a suite of solutions that we need to tackle this.
I think this is a very fair point.
And ultimately, Ethereum is a tool which could be used by both the humans and the AIs.
Now, maybe this is Coke, but the one way to think about it is that if you remove Ethereum, there doesn't seem to be like many other alternative products that people are building in the defensive accelerationist space.
It's pretty much all accelerationists.
And so, yes, maybe Ethereum will accelerate some things, but in some sense is one of the only hopes that we have.
for defensive acceleration.
And so as such, I think it's still rational to be trying to ship the straw map by 2029 and doing my best to make sure that Ethereum will be ready for an age of artificial superintelligence.
I'm relatively zen about it.
I've reached a point where, you know, I'm happy to die.
You know, I've lived a very happy life.
