the the town and and the club, um, right from the start and we we did a fair bit of work on that.

And as for the yeah, we had a great day at the mines, you know, we spoke about the hard working

part of our region and uh a lot of people talk about the mines a lot.

We obviously have mining round and then I sort of ask the players

Who who had been down to mine and and players and staff, no one had.

So I sort of organised it to to have a day out and um it sort of got more publicity than we've liked.

I just want it for an internal thing, but um we've we we've been able to call upon it during the year, yeah.

I mean to to go down underground, you know, that's sort of daunting uh enough as it is, let alone

Understand what those guys do for twelve hour shifts every day.

So um again it makes you feel grateful that you get to be, you know, involved in rugby league and also to hear from

Those guys who go underground and they sort of spend their week around talking about our us as a footy team.

So we're trying to get, you know, the the connection there and um yeah, it's it it's worked really well.

It does, yeah, and I've I've said a few times, it reminds me a lot of the the North of England, that sort of hard work and reason that love air rugby league and that and that was m my memories of St Helens, you know, has a big responsibility on

Delivering wins for for those people that rely on on your result to to sort of set 'em up for the week and how they're gonna feel at work and and and how the town thrives if you do them well.

So Newcastle reminds me a lot of that.

And um yeah, we're we're on our way of doing that at the moment.

Yeah, well in in terms of watching I would just sort of watch it at home.

You know, we sort of didn't get back to to New Edel till two o'clock this morning.

So, um the players will just rest up.

Some of 'em watch it, some of them won't.
