And, you know, everybody thinks that some of it goes to workers.
Some people think a lot of it goes to workers or argue that a lot goes to workers.
And some people think that not so much goes.
It seems like I think some of the standard economics is somewhere, you know, they're like 20 to 30 percent.
But, you know, some people argue it's like way, way, way more.
And a lot of times they have a political axe to grind to.
This could be really good for retailers.
Now, first thing, retailers are among the companies that pay the highest taxes now.
So the cut in the corporate tax rate hits them right away.
And that's great for them, right?
It makes their profits, right?
It makes their profit margins.
get wider.
It also makes it so your traditional brick and mortar retailers, it'll make it so that they can compete better against companies like Amazon.com, which pays a little much lower, has paid much less in taxes.
Not only do they get that profit boost, on the other hand, they also get more demand from the economy going faster, from people going out and buying stuff.
So this looks very supportive for retailers.
I mean, that's not something that happens.
Right.
The money that the companies hold overseas that they're being automatically taxed on.
Right.
