Yeah, it's interesting when you come in from the other side where you think you were doing things the way you should have been doing them, but in reality you were just doing them the best way you could.

And then you realize that, wow, there are better ways to do that, and maybe I didn't know certain aspects that I should have known.

I had that experience when I came in.

to NetApp as a support engineer.

I was a Windows administrator, and I come in thinking I knew Windows, but all I knew was how to right-click and create users.

Right?

I mean, more or less.

I come in here, and I learn who the real Windows experts are, the guys who came from Microsoft support, and the ones who really knew it in and out.

And that's something that you strive to when you get here, because you're like, oh, I want to learn the right way to do things.
