It's an interesting one, isn't it?
Obviously, James is a huge figure, not just at the club, but in the game.
And he absolutely has the ability to galvanise the team and connect people within the football club.
And I think that there's a genuine power in that and what he can bring to the organisation.
You know, from a public relations point of view, obviously there's challenges around staff.
any appointment and any decision they have to make.
So I feel like as long as, and I think that from the outside looking in, the way that Tim Roberts and Andrew Welsh has handled the process from when Brad Scott was moved on to where they are now, I think it's been the right way to go about it.
They've taken their time, they've put in place a process
they're now engaged in that and looking at the best possible option to be the next coach of the club.
And whoever comes out of that process on top, I feel like they can then back that in.
And the PR side of it will look after itself because they've gone down the process of appointing the best possible person for the club.
And if that ends up being James, then that's a great result for the club.
And if it ends up being someone else, then they'll be able to talk to the process they went through to get to that point.
So I think that's what's been really important.
Yeah, definitely.
But I think everybody needs to be careful around the sugar hit of that.
At the end of the day, of course, James is going to bring a significant amount of publicity and attention and hysteria and all of those things.
But at the end of the day, that's going to be short-lived.
And what it's going to come down to is his ability to coach the football team and his ability to get the Bombers off the bottom of the ladder and get them back playing finals footy and back in the top four and back winning premierships.
