I had serious whiplash, but nobody was seriously injured.

But I had a big decision to make because I filed the claim with insurance and insurance said, your car is totaled.

Mm-hmm.

So are you going to take the cash value or in the salvage title or are we getting you into a new car loan?

And I thought if I get a car loan, I'm only going to add to the debt.

Right.

And I really had a tough choice to make.

And I actually learned something really valuable about myself through that experience is that I cared more about my pursuit of financial freedom than

than my outward appearance with the car that I drive.

And so I decided to keep the car with no bumper.

Don't recommend.

I don't know if it's the safest.

Kept the car with no bumper.

Actually, my dad and I went to a U Pullet junkyard, found the exact same bumper, same color.

Same model and everything.

For $25.

Wow.

I do not.

But I actually did drive it for the rest of my debt-free journey.

So it took me a total of two years, five months to pay off the $35,000 of student loan debt.
