I didn't understand why women didn't stay.
Even though I saw it happen.
I don't know.
It's a really weird thing and something that in the recent years we've had a big clean-up in the industry and a big hooey and we've got codes of conduct now.
But it's something I really struggled with about feeling guilty about not protecting those girls because...
The perpetrators, they also hid that a lot from me by being mates with me and, you know, like, because I was older and not a sexual target for them, I was out of that loop.
I didn't realise what those dudes were up to.
And so I felt really bad because I know a lot of those younger women saw me being friends with all these guys.
Mm.
Because I didn't fucking know, you know, and so it's something I had to address really clearly with those girls is go, I'm sorry, I didn't know and I'll be better.
And so now I've turned that into being someone that I really hope those girls can come to and they do if anything's going on, you know.
Yeah, I felt terrible about it.
And then I've turned, difficult me, I turned that guilt into absolute fucking rage at those men.
Yeah.
Well, they don't work anymore in our industry, basically.
I have to be really careful here.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure.
You know, I'm not a fan of cancel culture, but sometimes it's necessary.
And that's what we had to do because it's a very difficult environment where there's nothing...
No police involvement and nothing, no charges.
