I watched it pick itself up and look around, trying to make sense of the world it had found itself in before on all fours it crawled off into the forest, leaving only its distorted wails.
The wails quickly faded into the distance.
and a heavy silence set in, as if every animal in the woods knew to avoid that area and what had just been born into it.
What I saw on that footage, Kyle, it looked a lot like a human baby, or at least the bones of a baby.
But whatever it was, it was new.
It had just been born into this world.
Whatever it was, it was just a baby.
And I can't stop wondering what it will become when it's all grown up.
