The first is that you do kind of have to hand it to Chuck Schumer.

And look, Chuck Schumer is not inspiring either.

He may not be the person he may not.

He probably, he almost certainly is not the person to lead the future in the opposition.

He's been pretty good on candidate recruitment, with a couple exceptions, one of which is Mills.

And he did win the shutdown fights.
