According to the American Trucking Association, 73% of U.S.
freight got to its final destination via truck, totaling over 11 billion tons of goods transported in a year.
And one driver said the cost to fill his truck has increased to roughly $1,200 per tank from about $750 before the increases in gas prices.
This, obviously, when you're talking about millions of trucks driving across the country spending that much more per tank, that could impact the prices that you see when you're going to the store.
