especially on the offensive end um not being able to perform you know the face of that is vladdy you know fair or not he's the face of the team and he's the one that they count on the most on the offense and he's obviously been well below his his standards and then i throw in just kind of like sloppy play defensively so just like all that to me is sort of not meeting the expectations of being the team that was probably coming into the year the favorite to um

win the American League East and win the American League like they did last year.

Yeah, I mean, it's going to be every aspect of the roster is going to have to get better.

So the starting rotation was a relative strength, I feel, early on, despite the injuries.

You were still getting pretty solid performances from a lot of those guys.

But lately, aside from Dylan Cease, who's been obviously exceptional recently,

for the entire season and is clearly a Cy Young favorite at this point.

But you've seen some dips with Kevin Gosman.

You've seen Yusavage really struggle with especially the walks, losing the zone.

The fact is that you also haven't even had like a full rotation.

So you're going to need to get that sorted out for them to sort of perform better.

It's going to sort of – I wouldn't say it starts there because I think the offense –

has to also get a lot better.

So those two things probably go hand in hand.

You're going to want to see them also just start clicking.

So when the pitching is going well, you're going to want them to start scoring runs.

We've seen some examples lately where the pitching has struggled, the Blue Jays have been able to put some runs on the board, but then the pitching struggled.

So it's going to be about sort of those things working in tandem as well.

But

The big thing is, obviously, offensively, they're going to need to get better.
