So with Sanchez, I think maybe to get some more power from him and maybe he's warming up to that now, right?
It looks like lately he's been swinging the bat really well, maybe getting more comfortable with Toronto.
These things take time sometimes and,
You know, he looks like he really fits into the sort of dynamic of the Blue Jays as well.
A guy that always has a smile on his face.
And we saw last year the Blue Jays obviously had their reputation as, you know, the fun, you know, friendship team.
So he really kind of fits into that personality of their team.
So yeah, I think he can be a fit for this team, but as you say, he's got to kind of find that role, and when he finds that role, which is someone that probably does hit for a little bit more power, he's got to do that pretty consistently.
Obviously there's going to be down times and stuff like that, but I think what we saw from him today is what you kind of want to see from him on a game-to-game basis.
I don't think the Pirates would do that.
Yeah, I think so.
And for Pirates fans' sake, you know, I know this is a Blue Jays fan network, but for the Pirates fans' sake, I mean, I hope the Pirates don't do that.
I hope they pay him.
Like, he's a generational player.
He's a guy that you should be building your entire franchise around, and you should be keeping as long as possible in the city of Pittsburgh.
Like, he should go down as a legend in Pittsburgh.
So, you know, I know that's not necessarily how sports work, and the Pirates are not a team that has โ
been known to pay long-term and pay big salaries.
I know that's kind of been their M.O.
But for the fans' sake, they're an organization that has not had a lot of postseason success, and so...
