And that's actually what happened to me.
So my career was a medic in the Air Force.
Loved it.
Absolutely loved it.
But I then got sick.
And I was told I was no longer deployable.
So I lost my career.
So I had to re-go, what do I want to do in my life?
And at that point, it was, well, I always wanted to be a school teacher.
I'll go back and study.
So I went back and studied and was a teacher for 12 and a half years.
And then another change in the road came along.
I got sick again.
And I realized I was never going to be part of the club of being a mum and went, this is really hard.
And a door opened and I walked through it and here I am today.
Oh, yeah?
I think it's a really different one.
So mine resulted from I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when I was in the Air Force.
So I was in Bougainville.
And then came back and was treated for 18 months.
