I've told people before that as I was coming into hosting, I used to get up and go to Access Hollywood for free every morning at seven o'clock in the morning to do these segments for free for like a year and a half. This is a big company, NBC, didn't give me a single coin.

I used to go every morning, Faithful, and then would get off of work and go to CNN, NHLN, right off of Sunset and do the same thing again on one of those shows for free every night for almost a year and a half. And people were like, what are you doing? And I was like, because I believe in abundance and I know this is going to lead to more and lead to more money.

And there were so many people that I was like, come on, you should come. I can hook you up. You want to be a host? You want to be in TV? You want to be in podcasting? Come through. I can hook you up. And they were like, no, girl, I can't do it. I'm not going to show up every day for free. And I was like, okay, girl.
