It's super happy all the time.
And I really caution people against that.
You can do it, but...
I want to protect ceremonial work in this country.
I don't want it to become a capitalist transactional piece where you pay somebody money and they say some fancy words and off they go.
And that becomes elitist as well.
I would love people to connect to why they want to do this work.
What is it you want to bring to the world?
What is it that you would like to see more in the world?
Like, what's the change you would like to see in the world?
And how can you help bring that about?
And I think that part, protecting ceremony from capitalism, is really important to me.
And that's why we have the baby funerals and the end of life weddings.
The income we generate through the hotel weddings funds those ceremonies.
And to me, that is really important because otherwise there's not much point in Entheos existing as an organisation if we're just kind of doing the same thing that other people are doing.
we're serving a space that is underserved and it's really beautiful and powerful and I love it so what do you think I should do should I keep being the guest at the weddings and the funerals or should I step up now and become the celebrant well honestly the work that you do in the world you connect deeply with people and I can almost see emotion in you as I say this but it's really important you have that skill radio television podcasts create communities
So if you were to do it, I think it would be really important to do it as Clare, who you were as a child, rather than Clare Byrne, the broadcaster.
Because the broadcaster could slip you into a part of you that takes you away from the underserved part that maybe has a lot to bring.
Usually, a couple is talking about the rest of their life and all that's ahead of them.
And this couple knows, they know what's ahead.
