So this is a piece that I'm really firm on.

I don't sit down with a couple and say, you can have whatever you like, because that is so overwhelming.

They don't really know where to start.

So my role is to sit down with them and say, what is it that you do know about this?

What are you envisioning?

What is the kind of vibe that you want?

And they need to say only a very little for me to have a sense of where they're going.

And then I will talk them through the outline framework that I generally use.

And that really helps reassure them that they don't have to make a million decisions.

They don't have to come up with it all.

Actually, most of the couples that come to me as well,

are busy couples busy professionals and they're or they're raising kids and they're doing like they're really really busy and they don't have time to spend hours sitting down planning this massive big ceremony but what we want is when we do hold the ceremony that both of them and their families and their communities go

This is just perfect for them.

Yeah, to me, I'm really passionate about that because I think we are risking over-romanticising ceremonies and weddings.
